Why I Started Blogging

As an engineer by choice, I have had the privilege to be associated with the ‘Absolute Latest Developments’ in the Information Technology field, but I never once thought that I would be sucked into it completely. My laptop screen stares at me most of the day, mercifully giving me some time slot to be with my family and friends. No complains! It cannot be avoided, if we really know of things that are to come!

Scientists are now inventing the ‘ultimate intelligent robot’, a ‘being’ which will beat man in every way. If this machine can outstrip man, then what is man? What is our future? If the machine can take over all our operations and do it far swifter  except of course look at the beautiful evening star alone in the sky, and see and feel the extraordinary quietness, steadiness, immensity and beauty of it—then what is going to happen our minds, our feelings?

We have lived so far by struggling to survive through knowledge, and when the machine takes over all that, what is next? This sounds much like the Samsung mobile advtg. If you get all the features in your cell phone right today, what next?

There are only two possibilities: either man will commit himself totally to entertainment—football, sports, every form of demonstration, going to the temple, and playing with all that stuff—or he will turn inward.

I decided to do the latter. Turn inward. Search and blog about those things that are unique to us. Be it behavior,  or moods or somethings that surely may make our scientists go back to the designing table. I am only kidding. But I believe; we sometimes use logic that our future generations yearn to make sense of!
